With every act of progress, every triumph, the future seems to draw nearer. Or is it we who are moving towards it? If so, then the past must also be closing in on us. We sit among the remnants of yesterday’s efforts, and whatever takes root remains fixed in place. The glass factory has shut down, leaving behind a landscape that bears witness to a reality unraveling. Those who stay are reminded that nothing truly vanishes- only gets replaced. As the last drop passes through the mouth of the dam, the current has carried away all that refused to be anchored. The stream settles back into it’s old course, and those who must swim will find their waters.

The viewer is invited into a home. The exhibition explores the idea of the body as a host with anxiety as its guest. Here, the home functions both as a physical and psychological space for care, but also as a space of tension between comfort and unease.
